When preparing lessons for their students, schoolteachers have been known to make use of videos and photos or photocopied articles and book excerpts that are copyrighted by a third-party. In response to this unlawful activity, TIPO has scheduled a total of four regional meetings throughout Taiwan to instruct teachers on proper copyright use in classrooms. The meetings, which will be held in northern, central and southern Taiwan on May 17, May 27, September 20 and September 30, aim to help instill proper, positive concepts of copyright in teachers of all education levels.
