In order to further enhance the promotion of IPR in schools, and lay the foundation for the concept of IPR through education, TIPO joined forces with members from law and service related associations of 15 universities in 2007 to form a "Campus IPR Assistance Team." After a short period of training, the Team visited senior high schools, junior high schools and elementary schools around the country, holding a total of 60 awareness activities in 2007 (including 40 activities in elementary schools, 15 in junior high schools and 5 in senior high schools), with 11,168 attendees, averaging around 186 per event. As the activities received overwhelming response and support from high schools and elementary schools nationwide, this program will be further expanded in 2008.
