The Chiayi squad of IPR Police raided on March 6, 2008, a video tape
rental store engaging in illegal reproduction and sale of pirated video
disks under the cover of a legal business and seized 8 sets of 1-to-5
burners, close to 100,000 pieces of finished and semi-finished pirated
discs and account books. The case has been turned over to the prosecutor's
office for violation of the Copyright Act.
