The Committee for Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) of the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) in Taipei visited TIPO on the morning of March 26, 2008, to exchange views on the issues of ISP bill, IP court, patent linkage and Trademark Act amendment. The visitors also gave compliment and expressed appreciation to the government's efforts in IPR protection. They indicated that they have submitted a recommendation to Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR) to remove Taiwan from the 2008 Special 301 list.
