1. With the announcement of its draft of the Internet Service Provider
(ISP) Bill this year, TIPO held four discussion conferences on February
14, March 24, May 7 and July 7. Comments from these meetings were submitted
to the Ministry of Justice for review on May 23.
2. This draft will clearly outline the responsibilities of Internet service
providers, including effective notice/takedown mechanisms, preventing
the transmission of illegal content, and filtering mechanisms. The revised
draft will be announced in due course.
