4.8 What happens if TIPO fails to obtain the electronic priority document because of incorrect data provided by the applicant?

If the failure of exchange results from factors attributable to the applicant, such as incorrect access code, application number or filing date, TIPO shall instruct the applicant to make necessary corrections within 2 months from the date on which the notification is served. An applicant who fails to submit corrections within the specified time period shall be deemed not to have provided the priority documents.
