9.4 Is there a limit to the number of designs that may be used in a design patent application?

A design patent application should involve only one design. However, two or more articles that belong to the same class and that are customarily sold or used together may be filed as one design. “Same class” is taken to mean articles categorized under the same class in the International Classification for Industrial Designs.
