7.2 Can a fee-refund application be filed if the trademark registration is cancelled due to an opposition or invalidation action?

The registration fee for a trademark is paid by the trademark right holder for the continuous claim of the trademark rights. Except for incorrect payment or overpayment, no refund application may be filed where the cancellation of the trademark registration is the result of a violation of the law.
