To promote a more widespread use of copyrighted works whose authors are unknown, TIPO has started offering a free “copyright holder search notice” publication service, which has been available since October of this year. All applicants need to do is email their application form to TIPO and we will publish the relevant notice on our website’s “Licensing of orphan works” section. This service will allow applicants to more conveniently and efficiently meet the requirements for the use of works whose authors are unknown.
