To offer Taiwan manufacturers insight into development trends of smart cockpit technologies, TIPO has compiled the Patent Trend Analysis on Critical Technologies of Smart Cockpit Systems for Vehicles.

Patents relating to smart cockpit technologies are on the rise. However, related technologies are not currently subject to any uniform standards, meaning that inventions that can offer personalized, smart, and immersive experiences may be applied to smart cockpits for vehicles. TIPO has noticed that ICT businesses, in addition to traditional auto manufacturers and automotive parts suppliers, have also been filing patents for specific technologies to move into the market.
