Successful Conclusion to the 2024 TIPA International Symposium: Due Process of Handling Technical Disputes in Patent Infringement Lawsuits
On October 4, 2024, TIPO, in collaboration with the Intellectual Property and Commercial Court (IPCC), organized the 2024 TIPA International Symposium: Due Process of Handling Technical Disputes in Patent Infringement Lawsuits at the Tsai Lecture Hall of the NTU College of Law. The symposium was held via a hybrid format and invited speakers of the likes of Judge Tobias Pichlmaier (Legally Qualified Judge at the Unified Patent Court/ Presiding Judge at the Higher Regional Court Munich), Gary C. Ma (partner at Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner), Kenji Tosaki (partner at Nagashima Ohno & Tsunematsu), and Judges Ming-Huang Chang and Hung-Ying Peng(Division-Chief Judges at the IPCC), as well as Roger Chang (partner at Lee and Li Attorneys-at-Law).
Speakers shared insights and experiences from their practices, and the event attracted 323 participants both in-person and online to engage in lively and active discussion.
