To enhance transparency regarding royalty rates and facilitate public review and feedback, TIPO has established the “Dedicated Section for Advance Royalty Rate Notices by Collective Management Organizations (CMOs).” This section centralizes and compiles advance rate notices posted across the websites of Taiwan's five CMOs.

Under Paragraph 6, Article 24 of the Copyright Collective Management Organization Act, CMOs may, when setting or altering royalty rates, issue an advance notice, as necessary, prior to official public announcement, in order to solicit feedback from users and facilitate consultation. Previously, copyright users had to visit each CMO’s website individually to find relevant information. Starting today, users can simply access the dedicated section on TIPO’s website and click through to each CMO's designated notification page, making it easier to stay informed of all advance notices of royalty rates.
