To bolster Taiwan’s trademark service system and enhance the capabilities of IP professionals, TIPO will launch the first nationwide Trademark Professional Capability Certification Examination in September 2025. Individuals who pass the exam and obtain a certification of qualification will be eligible to register as trademark agents and are legally authorized to handle trademark-related matters. The certification system can effectively improve the quality of trademark services, while also strengthening the credibility and effectiveness of Taiwan’s intellectual property rights framework.
