Taiwan Innotech Expo 2025 Concludes with 359 Award-Winning Innovations
The 2025 Taiwan Innotech Expo (TIE) successfully wrapped up on October 18. Held from October 16 to 18, the event attracted exhibitors from 19 countries and regions, with 442 participating companies and over 900 booths. The three-day expo welcomed more than 50,000 visitors, including international buyers and representatives from academic and research institutions, with attendees from over 60 countries, underscoring Taiwan’s growing influence on the global innovation and R&D stage.
In conjunction with the expo, the Taipei Invention Awards Competition was held to recognize outstanding patented inventions that demonstrate innovation and market potential. This year, the international invention zone featured 46 booths showcasing 73 technologies from Korea, Thailand, and Mexico.
A total of 554 entries from various sectors were submitted to the competition. TIPO invited domestic experts and industry professionals to serve as judges. The selection process included a two-stage evaluation: document review and on-site appraisal conducted during the exhibition. Ultimately, 359 entries received awards, including 14 platinum awards, 104 gold medals, 103 silver medals, and 138 bronze medals.
