To better align goods and services classification with current market practices, TIPO has reviewed and updated the designated goods and services names used in trademark applications. A total of 9 items have been revised or added, and 1 item has been removed. In addition, the remarks of 3 group or subgroup have been updated. These changes will take effect starting July 1, 2025.

The electronic trademark application system will be updated accordingly to reflect the revised list of designated goods and services (the exact system update schedule will be announced separately by TIPO’s Information Management Office).

Beginning today, the updated version of the full list of designated goods and services can be downloaded from the "Goods and Services Classification Search" section of the Trademark Search System. We encourage all interested parties to make use of this updated reference.
