WIPO has revised the Nice Classification of Goods and Services under the Nice Agreement, releasing the 13th Edition – Version 2026, which is scheduled to take effect on January 1, 2026.

In response, the Taiwan Intellectual Property Office (TIPO) has compiled and published the following reference materials: Summary of Changes in Class Headings and Explanatory Notes for the Nice 13th Edition – Version 2026; Comparison Table of Changes in Goods/Services Terms between the Nice 12th Edition – Version 2025 and the 13th Edition – Version 2026; Chinese-English Comparison Table of Goods and Services Terms and Similar Group Codes – Nice 13th Edition – Version 2026.

These documents are now available on TIPO’s official website and are open for public reference.
