TIPO Pioneers Online Interactive Games for Copyright Outreach, Attracting Nearly 300,000 Students
In 2025, TIPO pioneered online interactive games to campus copyright outreach by partnering with PaGamO, a gamified online learning platform. By integrating interactive elements, such as answering questions to occupy territory and earning virtual treasures or unique terrains, the initiative successfully guided students to engage in autonomous learning of copyright concepts through in-game missions. Throughout the year, a total of 21 learning missions were implemented, with cumulative participation reaching nearly 300,000 person-times, significantly surpassing the results of the previous two years.
The program featured a progressive curriculum tailored to students at the elementary, junior high, and senior high school levels (including vocational high schools). Starting with copyright basics, the learning modules expanded to common IP issues in daily life, school settings, and online environments, ultimately introducing more complex concepts such as fair use. To enhance student engagement and learning motivation, the question items utilized lively, concise language accompanied by multimedia content, such as images and videos. Furthermore, the initiative incorporated TIPO’s copyright mascot, Xiao Lu, to design a reward-based terrain for completing missions, increasing program recognition and appeal.
TIPO emphasizes that rooting copyright education in younger generations is a vital foundation for fostering a society that respects intellectual property rights. In an era dominated by digital and social media, where students have more opportunities to access and utilize creative works, innovative and diversified approaches are essential for strengthening their IP awareness. Moving forward, TIPO will continue to leverage digital technology and creative tools to deepen campus copyright education, cultivate a culture of legal compliance and respect for creativity and innovation, and foster a friendly environment for both creators and users.
